Berkeley Springs is bringing Autumn back this weekend for a couple more weeks -- by popular demand. The surprise snowstorm on Halloween weekend provided some of the best, and most rare, of photo opportunities BUT....we're not ready yet for a season change. Inside offers a variety of music on Saturday night. The Troubadour Lounge brings to the stage a special traveling show tribute to Patsy Cline, "Daily Walkin with Patsy and Friends." A recent TV pilot that featured the Troubadour is sure to make the place famous. Come out and see the show and the WV Country Music Hall of Fame with authentic Patsy memorabilia.

Fairfax Coffee House features bluegrass Saturday at 7pm with Marv Ashby and the High Octane Band. Earth Dog Cafe has rock and country duo Jonathan McBee and Peg Althoff on Saturday starting at 9pm.

Family fun can be found at the Star Theatre showing "The Dolphin Tale" Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8pm with a Sunday matinee at 2pm. Stop by for some popcorn after the Farmers Market which remains on Fairfax Street through November. The first three Sundays in December the market will move to the empty space at the North end of the Old Factory Antique Mall. Big celebration this weekend congratulating Glascocks Orchards and Mark & Laura Glascock for winning WV Conservation Farmer of the Year. That makes all their products award-winning and you can find them always at the center of the Farmers Market. While you are strolling the historic area where the market is located, notice the new sidewalks, part of Streescapes.

There is always something useful and interesting happening in Berkeley Springs and often it requires coming early for the weekend. On Friday, War Memorial Hospital has an annual Book Fair from 9am to 3pm. On Sunday at 3pm at the Ice House, is a first-hand report on daily life in Taiwan by a local student traveler, Lesley Yost.

It's art on Saturday at Frog Valley with pottery demonstrations by Jessica Craver happening all day along with great art shopping. Saturday also offers a free class on "Eating Healthy during the Holidays" from 1-2pm offering great ideas on all kinds of foods at Awakening Health Center. Fortunately, several fine restaurants in town offer made-on-the-spot dishes using local and regional foods. Both Lot 12 and Panorama at the Peak received a prestigious Slow Food, Washington, DC award for excellence. Stop by and sample special from local chef's including the Country Inn, Tari's Cafe and Temptations. There are more than a dozen eateries from which to choose for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering everything from fresh fish, steak and ribs to country family dining. Temptions, Too B akery is taking special orders for upcoming holiday goodies.

The weather is ideal for soaking in tubs of hot mineral water, or in a steam or being stretched on a massage table. Berkeley Springs is famous for its spas and this can be your weekend to indulge.
